Mangosteen tea

Hi every one, I attend the David Wolfe  lecture in Melbourne awhile back and he spoke of Mangosteen tea as a great immune system booster. Iv done a little research and have been steeping some mangosteen skins over night. The tea is bitter with a pleasant after taste which seams to pick me up abit and give me energy. I was wondering if any one else had tried mangosteen tea and if it had any effects.

Joel what a wonderful and inspiring comment - thank you. I'm thrilled to hear your partner was able to give birth to a healthy girl despite the odds against her with PCOS. I hope this will be the case with my fiance and I when the time comes. How did she manage the PCOS when she was first diagnosed? The various doctors I saw were very quick to prescribe a range of drugs...which I tried - but they didn't work. All they did was make me feel uncomfortable with all the side effects. So I stopped. And I've started reading and investigating and I feel like I've opened a can of worms!! :)
