Brand new and looking forward to meeting everyone.  On a journey to my ideal weight through healthy eating and exercise.  Have 81 pounds gone so far and 106 to go.  Would love to connect with each of you and learn and share with each other.

Hi all! I balance my self weekly  with detox teas and I take apple cider vinegar daily. I buy as much organic as I can afford while on unemployment and once the weather gets better I'll be back to walking lord willing.  Anyways, I used to take detox tea every day and my skin broke out all the time.. Now I just use green tea and lysine in the am before I eat to clean out the muck form the night before. It always worked before. I found that too much detoxification comes out in your skin.  The key to a quality life and health is BALANCE.-sweetness

Hi everyone. Just found this site. Not sure just what we are allowed to post here. But I post a lot of different things on my page and deal mostly with health issues and certain products.

Hey everybody, well I finally took the money I received from my birthday and invested in a nice juicer! I started the detox plan today! I am going to believe them when they say that you get used to the taste.  Yesterday was my first and last time going to family style buffet and all I have to say is yuck! I don't want to eat like that ever again.

I started the Detox plan today, and I have to say... I'm not sure I can hang with it... :( The Wheatgrass is the worst thing I have ever tasted... :( Any ideas I can do to make it through for a few more days at least? I'm not hungry, I just dread the next mealtime... :( Thanks in advance for all the advice!

Because of the internet you have so many people close to you irregardless of where you live. Maybe you could hit some other raw food websites for people closer to you too like Matt Monarch or Kevin Gianni's websites

Is there anyone in or near the Cincinnati area? Looking for support while embarking on my quest for better health!

Not an expert in this area, but yes that would be a good starter suggestion, just based on my experience with clients and myself. Maybe someone that already has a blog like Matt Monarch or Kevin Gianni could address that question better.

Would it better to be say 70% raw in your opinion as far as digestion goes? Thanks for the ideas to help with my blog post!
Casey Eldredge Comment by Casey Eldredge on August 25, 2010 at 10:02am
As a colon hydrotherapist I would say go slow, because often times I see a lot of new clients after they have gone 100 percent raw and it can be very difficult on your digestion.
Can you take a class and learn some tasty recipes? Food has to taste good to stick to it. Finding a friend to venture with you is helpful too.
