Hi everyone - I just joined and it is great to be here! Michelle - I see you mentioned some documentaries.... there is another one too - Food Security by Dr. Shiv Chopra... he used to be with Health Canada but basically blew the whistle on them. This documentary is awesome!  A friend told me about "Earthlings" which is advertised as the most violent film ever - and it is about how animals are treated .. not just for food but other things. I have not seen it - I saw the trailer and that was enough for me. It is very graphic. If anyone is interested I too have a blog - at my website.... http://www.ediblewildfood.com - I tend to forage alot and I love it.

The best thing I ever did was to start growing vegetables.  Because I put my love and energy into these zero mile organics, I eat probably 5 times as many veggies as I used to.  Now my goal is to eat only what I grow - but to grow year round here on the coast of BC.  Check out our blog http://www.gardengabble.blogspot.com/

Hi everyone, I am thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful group. I started making some changes over two years ago, and continue to do so everyday. Mostly, I've continued living an active lifestyle, incorporated clean eating as much as possible, and supplement my nutrition regimen with a nutritional cleansing program. I have seen so many improvements in my overall health; increased energy, improved sleep, better recovery from workouts, less illness...to name a few. I look forward to learning/sharing from each and everyone of you.

It is not a Canadian site but I want to mention NaturalNews.

I just joined this site and start my Registered Holistic Nutritionist schooling in a few days. I bought the Food Matters movie and then watched Food, Inc, the World According to Monsanto, The Future of Food and Super Size Me. I love Gillian McKeith and Percy Schmeiser is my hero :)

Hey Tom, there is one that I follow and they forward me monthly newsletters. It's http://www.naturallysavvy.com/. Some good articles....they have an E-coupon section to save money on natural food and vitamins. NaturallySavvy I think is based out of Toronto.
