Nice to connect with you.  I consider myself "athletic" - I am into interval training and hybrid resistance training, and am breaking into some "extreme"(-ly fun) races like the Urbanathlon and Tough Mudder.  Currently doing about 75% raw diet, but still have meat/eggs/steamed grains in there.  I'm a doctor-in-training, and my interest is in scientific articles showing specific benefits of specific foods for athletes (staples so far - hemp seeds, almonds, beets, blueberries).  I'd love to chat with you on Facebook - look up "Matthew D Taylor" in Detroit.
