Leading The Natural Health Revolution
There are many different opinions on this topic. The doctors says; do not do colon hydro therapy, you will flush out the good bacteria too....Maybe your body size have something to do with it??? Any thoughts? Thanks for your opinions/knowledge in this matter!

You are so right that there are many different opinions surrounding colonics. Ultimately your decision should come down to whether this is right for you, and how it makes you feel!
The build up in the colon is a perfect breeding ground for parasites, yeast, bad bacteria and viruses - therefore the good bacteria that we believe is present may not even be doing the best job that it can anyway! Whether you choose to do a colonic or not, it's important to restore good bacteria in the colon through foods (yoghurt, fermented foods) or a good probiotic.

Permalink Reply by Jam on February 23, 2012 at 7:40pm I have had a very positive experience with colonics. I started for the first time last year. I did a colonic detox which was guided by my experienced and knowledgeable (and chirpy) colonic hydrotherapist. I cannot share enough of the positive benefits that I've received from doing it (some of which have been weight-loss, cleared up skin conditions, regular and easy bathroom visits, a focus on better eating, elimination of urinary tract infection, less painful periods).
I suggest you find a well-reputed, good colonic hydrotherapist and at least book a chat with them. This way they can share their knowledge with you - and you can see if it feels right. I have learnt so much about the body and the connection between 'what you eat' and what you are. I've also learnt not to be afraid to look into the toilet to see what's happening - as that provides a wealth of information about your current health.
And in relation to flushing out the good bacteria, after you do the colonic you actually prepare your colon so that the good bacteria have an environment where they can flourish and do well. Prior to that, if your diet has ever consisted of white flour, white wine/beer or red meat (to name the main culprits) - it probably is too clogged up for the good bacteria to get to work.
I feel so passionately about this subject - could go on for ages!
