Can anyone recommend a good juicer? And WHERE can I buy it in Sydney?

Hi everyone!

My fiance and I have decided to incorporate raw juicing into our daily lives.
We want to buy a good juicer that is going to last and be easy to use.
Price isn't a concern as we feel it's worth the investment.

Are there ones out that they can juice apples whole and that kind of thing?
We want minimal chopping etc.

Any thoughts would be great!!

Jess :)

Absolutely you can drink it. You can add water, it just depends what kind of consistency you want. Some fruit will have enough water in it so you dont need to add extra like watermelon. My daily fruit smoothie is 1 cup of water, 5 ice cubes, 1/2 apple with seeds, small handful of globe grapes with seeds, 1/2 frozen banana, few pieces of fresh pineapple with core, 1 tbsp flax seeds, 1/4 teaspoon of vitamin c from ascorbic acid, and a little protein powder. The blender is so strong it will grind down all the seeds down to almost nothing. Can you can very small specs, but you cant taste them or feel them. They blenders are a little expensive but worth the money by far. I paid $400 for my blendtec, but it is cheaper than the vitamix and is smaller so it takes up less room. Either one will provide many many years of good service. Many people have had these blenders for 20+ years. They just dont quit,.

You can add whatever fruit or veggies you want. If I have kiwi on hand I leave the skin on and it does not affect the taste or texture of the smoothie at all. You can leave the skin on tomatoes and it will pulverize it down to nothing. In fact if you leave your veggies in the blender long enough (a few minutes) it will make soup by boiling it because the blades are turning so fast.

If you still need to be convinced how powerful these blenders are, go on youtube and search for videos called "Will it blend"? The owner of blendtec puts random things in his blenders like an iphone, marbles, 2x2 wood, cubic zirconium, and hockey pucks and it grinds all of them up.
Sounds great.

Thank you

Champion Juicer is the best in Australia that i know of, and im lucky enough to live in the town they are made in. Bordertown South Australia. I think if you google them you will find it... From memory they retail for around $400 and well worth every cent...
I am guessing that you have your juicer now, but for anyone else who is interested - Vitality for Life have a store in Sydney now at Rockdale.
I know I got a used Vita Mix off of Ebay and I LOVE it!  you can make any kind of juice, soup, ice cream or even BREAD you can think of!  maybe get on ebay and type in Vita Mix and look for a good used one...
